Fire up the GRILL---Not the deck!

- Don’t barbecue next to, or under, structures or other combustible surfaces.
- Don’t leave your barbecue unattended, especially when children are present.
- Keep a bucket of water, water hose, or fire extinguisher nearby to extinguish a fire if needed.
- Use charcoal lighter fluid sparingly and with extreme caution. Never squirt “just a little more” once the fire is lit (even if it’s just smoking) - fire can shoot back up the fluid stream and explode.
- Used briquettes/ashes can stay hot for several days - dispose of them in a metal container and store the container away from combustibles such as decks, furniture, or structures.
- When you change propane tanks/bottles, check the fittings to ensure proper seal and fit before using.
- HAVE FUN AND BE SAFE!
